ROBERT S. KAHN
A native of Chicago, Robert (Rob) has resided in California for more than 25 years. He obtained his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Rob has been a practicing attorney since 2004. Before joining the McElfish Law Firm, he spent several years as an in-house and business transactional attorney, dedicating his time and energy to providing employment counseling advice and setting up HR processes for his corporate clients, while also handling day-to-day business transactions and defending his clients in wrongful termination suits.
In his past role as a corporate counsel, he collaborated with his clients to make sure their legal requirements made good business sense. This ensured the clients saw the value proposition for the legal work undertaken. In the past he has served as General Counsel for several firms, including a privately held manufacturing company that generated approximately $100 million in yearly revenue and employed approximately 350 individuals nationwide, in addition to start-ups and other going concerns. Because Rob endeavors to understand his clients, he has been able to offer incisive legal advice that dovetails with the goals of each client’s ventures.
